  • Ive also had a search made by RBS PLC IRO OF UKI PARTNERSHIPS, i have been on confused.com but it does not show on my report as an unrecorded enquiry, it shows as an "insurance quote", which i believe has registered as a search
  • I stubbled on this post by "google searching" RBS PLC IRO OF UKI PARTNERSHIPS and I decided to register with MoneySavingExpert to make my contribution.

I noticed an un-authorized search made by RBS PLC IRO OF UKI PARTNERSHIPS on my credit report today without my knowledge.

This un-authorized credit search by RBS PLC IRO OF UKI PARTNERSHIPS on people without thier knowledge gives a call for concern. And,I think that it should be given serious attention before they cause havoc in our community.

What can one do to stop RBS PLC IRO OF UKI PARTNERSHIPS' illegal activity of conducting of credit search on one's credit report without one's knowledge or authorization.

    Thanks.

I have had this before however as it shows as unrecorded enquiry it has no impact on my credit status so not concerned about it!

If you want them removed you need to create and online dispute with the CRA's.

    They are RBS.

    Contact them for an address.
    For everthing else there's mastercard.
    For clampers there's Barclaycard.

I also have this, however the search is dated the day I bought my car. I'm not entirely sure if I started looking for insurance that day or the next day though...but it'd be too big a coincidence if these weren't related.

Now I know for certain that when I use comparison sites I'll use the name "None None" and an address a few houses from me :p. I'm guessing whoever's insurance this RBS thing is will fail me though due to failing an ID check.
