Just an appeal to PMS members to keep struggling for the return of the money which is rightfully ours. We can’t help but notice that since the paltry 12 percent payment a couple of weeks back, this forum has been far quieter than it’s ever been since its inception. Are people becoming resigned or complacent? I hope not! Where is our sense of injustice and outrage? Where is the sense of urgency? We must make an effort to keep our concerns front and centre with the new government and with our representatives at Stormont; otherwise, we run the risk that they may conclude we can be easily (and endlessly) delayed or bought off. So write a letter or two or three, send an e-mail or several! Demand to know what the prime minister’s working group is doing, and why it has not reported. Demand an end to the delays, and an account of exactly what is happening. Demand to know when the hardship fund will be established, who will administer it , how it will operate, etc. Demand of the administrator why he has not informed us of who is on the creditors’ committee ordered three months ago by the court, and the reason for this delay. Our demands are limited only by our imagination and our determination to see, urgently, the return of our money—all our money, not in dribs and drabs of small percentages.0

No decision has yet been taken as to HOW the money will be raised - the Special Assembly only agreed in principal that it SHOULD be raised.
Final decision about HOW will be taken at the Assembly in June.0 -

The Reports are now out for the forthcoming General Assembly - in the hands of Ministers and Rep. Elders. NOWHERE is there any mention of the PMS: no doubt raising the £1 million will be presented as a supplementary report in the Daily Minutes - problem with this is that it will then be hard to know when the item will be discussed by the Assembly. I DO hope we're not being forgotten!!:(
Would it not have made more sense for Government to lend ALL the money needed to the PMS - so that everybody could get their money. The decks would then have been cleared for PMS to repay, over a period of years, the loan.0 -
