Dr Watts
What is his official position within PMS now [as was]?0 -
We need a 'Joanna Lumley' for our cause.
It seems if you make a big enough noise this Labour government takes heed!0 -
She's better looking than those two!!0

Post 2303 posed question,
"How come Joanna Lumley manages to get a meeting with Gordon Brown to discuss the Gurkha issue at the drop of a hat.
Whilst our First Minister and Deputy First Minister have been waiting for nearly 4 months now?"
Could it be the answer be credibility, real personality and a cause the public at large appear to back. Unfortunately the PMS saga is only about money...!!
Have just watched Ms Lumley's press conference where she gave an incredible demonstration of the art of control....
If this demonstrates anything it must be that silent demonstration does not work.0 -

Its pathetic to see the people who have no time to discuss the depositors who saved with the PMS and their problems -- have been busy lining their own pockets at the taxpayers expense.
How many pensioners wish they had expense accounts like MPs.0 -
Im gonna ask a question, and it may sound stupid, but I have been reading this thread with interest.....btw I love all the cloak and dagger stuff;)
Is PMS directly, on paper signed ect involved with the church? Do/Did the church benefit in anyway whatsoever from the PMS?
Has anyone put a charging order on the PMS's Assets? If they have helped out property developers ect and these builders cannot afford to pay back....its up to the pms to put a charging order on their assets land, property ect, and maybe as savers/investors in pms you may be able to do the same!!
I would love to see you all getting your hard earned money back and I will be watching this thread with interest!!
Good Luck to you all

There is a poll at the start of the thread asking the following question
"Do you plan to attend the General Assembly meeting on Tuesday 2nd June 2009 ?"

4 p.m. is it? Clever...too late for the evening news bulleteins!! No time for a lengthy debate as the Assembly Hall will need to be made ready for an evening event!!
The Clerk of any Church court serves "at the pleasure of the Court": a good Clerk won't exercise power but, unfortunately, the Clerk tends to be the one "in the know" and with the experience. The Moderator is there for only one year.
Don't know what role, if any, Dr. Watts has with PMS.
I mentioned one other time about PMS having an "Agent" on the Board of Mission in Ireland, a right set out in the Code and granted, in 1984, by decision of the General Assembly. Would like to see the Constitution(not the rules) of PMS to find if this link is mentioned there.0
