Cluttered and unreadable

Everyday in our office we log onto our favourite sites.
This is usually news, soaps, music, Youtube etc.
But everyone logs on to this moneysavingexpert.
However, you have just been overwhelmingly voted, the most cluttered, difficult to read, difficult to find anything, too many icons, colours, different fonts.
Quite frankly it's a nightmare. It's all too much.
You make a big thing about making consumer advice simple for everyone, but ignore that with your presentation.
There are lots of people out here with visual disabilities, it must be hell for them.
It's bad enough for those of us who are IT literate.
Sorry, but it had to be said

Hi there
Just a suggestion but don't log on then. If everyone at your work logs on then it cannot be that bad, and you have a good company that will let you do this. Mine won't let us log on to anything not work related.
I think the site is marvellous, take the bits that I like and are helpful and leave the rest. I suggest you adopt the same policy.

I think the OP has a good point to make, and it doesn't help to just say if you don't like it don't log on.
This is a feedback section and I find your attitude to be frankly useless. The OP is after all trying to help us see that there is a problem.
The OP has identified that his/her work colleagues have voted 'our' site to be user unfriendly. The OP does not expand on what the problems are in very great detail, but the OP is unlikely to do so when met by an attitude such as yours.
It could be that you and a lot of us in the forums don't realise there is a lot of information on this site outside of the forums. I for one never venture outside of the forums because I know that the information out there is hard to read, hard to follow, and difficult to navigate. It could be this that the OP & their colleagues are reffering to.
I know that I never venture outside the forums for those reasons, but I have never drawn this to the attention of anyone at admin as a problem. It OBVIOUSLY is a problem because it DOES affect the way I interact with the site, and if it affects me it must affect countless others aswell.
There is a problem in that putting the site (outside the forums) back into a navigable form would take a huge amount of work, and I guess that admin/Martin are aware that it is not perfect out there but they just have not got the time to do anything about it.0 -
Hi everyone
Thanks for the feedback. Any opinions on the main site are always welcome, whether positive or negative, that's why the Site Feedback board was set up.
Though it would be great rather than generalised comments to explain whether this is about the forum or the main site and to give the specifics.
