tut..........I was going to wear my pedometer to class wasn't I to see how far I walked.......will see if I can remember next week.

Spud, even if you walk 1 mile in 20 mins, which is dawdling pace then you will do it in 2 hours, plus i know you have long legs and new trainers so will easily do it in much less...I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -

not sure about Lenny's beer idea but i think if you knew you were gonna have a walking partner all the way round then you'd feel happier.......
I think you got spooked when i said everyone will do their own thing once the race begins. Which is true of runners as everyone has differing abilities and experience so it wouldn't be fair for me to hold sal or sammy back by asking them to run with me IYKWIM....
The thing is thing is the further back you finish, the more people you know will be cheering you on when you cross the line!! and that is unbeatable!
