And when You get tired of the phone(after using Your £5 credit) You can send it back
for a £10 refund against a other phone.
  • Can this phone be unlocked to work with Vodaphone?

This cant be done :( i received my phone today but didnt get the envelope and form to return my old handset for the £10. so i called CPW and they told me that this offer does not apply to this particular deal as they would not make any money from the sale. Hence they did not send out the envelope/form to me. I questioned why the option was available to return an old handset and was told that this is just a standard feature of buying online.

Shame, because i only bought the phone thinking i could return an old one. oh well, guess il keep it anyway.

Also on the emails i received to confirm delivery/registration etc, it says that the £5 is applied after 8 days. This is to stop people using the credit and returning the phone within 7 days (that would be cheeky anyway).
    ..........................................................................................
Does anyone know if this can be unlocked via code?
edit: no need to answer that Q as phone is already unlocked. :)

Well I've just been to a CPW store and it had on the display that you can save a further £10 off ANY PAYG phone when you trade in. I asked a salesman if this applied to the cheap Moto C115 and he said yes, but you need to have the charger and the manual. When I produced these from out of a bag he said "oh but I can't sell you one because we've ran out of Orange SIMpacks". I went to another branch and they said they had them in stock but they couldn't sell me one because there were problems with Orange, and their network was down at the moment which meant that he wasn't allowed to sell me one !!!!????

It all sounded very fishy to me!!!!!

They had a big sign outside saying PAYG mobiles from £7.49, obviously to attract people into the store. Presumably they know that they'd get into trouble for false advertising if they didn't have available so they instead think of a reason not to sell you one - at least you'd think they'd get their story straight if they're going to lie about it :naughty: (or maybe I'm just being overly sceptical about the whole thing!!)

Has anyone actually managed to pick one up in-store AND get £10 trade-in knocked off the price?

Also, can anyone in the know put us in the picture about CPW's policy (what ever happened to "itsarichmansworld"? - she hasn't been around for a while and might be the person to enlighten us all)

    dear all,

how do you get the £5 credit on the phone?

I entered the SIM that came into phone and then linked the top up swipe card by calling 450 and selecting option 1. It still says that there is only £1 credit on the phone.

    Cheers
