RyanAir

  • I am back at work today after spending a week in Mijas, Spain and travelled with Ryanair.

Flights from Prestwick to Malaga and return were both bang on time, brand new aeroplanes, friendly cabin staff, no problems encountered whatsoever.

We booked on line, checked in on line, took hand luggage only( yes, it can be done for a week's stay).

We booked our hotel with Air Miles saved from Tesco Club Card points. The hotel was 4 star (Gran Hotel) and we found it to be faultless.

The end result was a week in the sun for £20 each, the TOTAL cost of the Ryanair flights.

    Hats off to them

mr smartprice i used to think the emergency exit seat were the best, but they are not as wide and you always will get some longshanks sitting next to you with long arms that dig into you, and you are last of the plane if both doors open on landing.

i prefer the front, first off the plane, and near the blocked off rows, the only snag is babies, mothers like to be near the toilet and if one baby can hear another one they scream for hours at each other.

i agree ince mon, problems are rare and booking problems (bags and debit cards) somehow get linked to a rip off service that is dodgy too, and that certainly is not the case as regulars know only to well

I take your point, but have never had problems in the exit rows. I am 6'3" tall so like some legroom. I generally grab the aisle seat, MrsS gets the window seat, and usually the one in between stays empty.;)

Being last off the plane is of no consequence to us. We will still be out of the airport before most passengers as we never have to wait for hold bags.

As for wailing kids on planes, don't start me on that one.......
