30 day contracts-any sight of them?

i read in the guardian money seciton about 30 day mobile phone contracts but have not been able to find any details of them anywhere.

was this my imaginaition?!?! i really dislike 18 month contracts and would like some flexibility.

Virgin have the Liberty tariff which is a 30 contract, you get a min allowance for your fixed monthly fee, and a credit limit paid by direct debit if you go over, only requires 30 days notice to quit, i have not seen any 30 day contracts that provide a phone yet.

No mobile company will offer a free phone on a 30 day contract, wouldn't be a very profitable business model.

Most are 30 day SIM Only pay monthly contracts. You'll need an unlocked phone to switch networks.
