Hello
I am deep deep in the brown stuff.....
Hubbie knows that there are problems but not how bad.
Have done a CCCS review & I have to phone them.
Will do it on Thurs as I am working till then.
Just keep putting it off.
I have paid everything this month but can't do it next month.
We are living on £35 weekly with our daughter.
I am so scared.
Is there really a way out of this
I am so frightened
Is there anyone to talk to out there or to help me ???
Love

You need to post your SOA (statement of affairs). There are some real expeerts on here who will be along to help but well done on postingWe finally did it! Debt free 28/6/10 :T  :T :beer:0

Hello and welcome. Hopefully once you have spoken to CCCS you will understand what options are available to you. I would recommend talking to hubbie about the extent of the problem otherwise he can't fully support you... The link below links you to some of the other support services available:
http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/loans/debt-help-plan#help
If you use the following link
http://www.makesenseofcards.co.uk/soacalc.html
you can put in all your income, outgoings, debts (including interest rates and minimum payments) and assets - then you can format it to post on the mse forum here and post it on here.
I did this when I first joined and I have made loads more savings since then. It is worth doing, we often overspend in areas that we think are normal and perhaps in some cases don't spend enough on other necessities...

You have done a big brave thing posting on here. Take a deep breath and have a cup of something strong. As other people have said you need to fill in an SOA (income and expenditure forms) don't keep anything back.

Thank you much for replying....
I have been following Martin's Money Tips for about 18 months.
Done all of them.......
Always open to more but we have reached the end of the line.
I cannot put all my details on here,
For one, it is too embarrassing
Two, Don't want anyone to know how bad it is

Remember its annonymous on here so no one knows who you are, so in effect this is a 'safe' place to disclose whats going on. Also people on here find it helps to put it down on here to be able to keep track. Lastly people need to know more information to be able to start helping you and suggesting ways forward.
Good luck x0 -
Hi and welcome to DFW - well done for posting, thats a big step you have taken. The next step is to make that call to CCCS - you will feel so much better for it.
Good Luck and keep posting x xPay Debt by Xmas 16 - 0/12000

I felt the same way when I posted my soa I was convinced I would be cloned the next day and that people at work would suddenly know my level of debt - but guess what none of that has happened... I do really feel for you. I can remember the early days and the feeling of desolation as we realised how much debt we were (and still are) in. It did feel strangely cathartic to get it all down. CCCS were very helpful and understanding and not at all patronising. can you tell your OH and then you can tackle this as a team?
