AA still offering 6.3% and Kent Reliance and Clydesdale/Yorkshire still have 6% bonds.

Anyone know what other good deals are out there - fixed for up to a year?
I have money in a NW variable account and just realised that 2% of the rate won't kick in until the end of the year - which is very disappointing, I need to find a good home for the money asap.

    Thanks!

    PS Nothing too exotic!

Is the AA covered for compensation by the FSA?
  • AA is covered on HBOS's
  • AA have pulled their Fixed Rate Deal as of at least 2 days ago. Bummer I wanted that.

Had my ISA with KR for 2 years. They are very good. ONly wish Id never transferred it to Icesave for an extra 0.5%. They transferred it in 5 days too so they are very efficient. Wish I was still with them.

    Ditto! Similar sentiments.
  • apart from KRBS, any other building societies still offering close to 6%?
