Then give him your mobile number my called me on my mums did not reply in time and he called on my landline, at least I knew who was calling by that happening! He interviewed me half hour later as I had the council here looking at redoing my kitchen.
Some are flexible Messi, some however I have read are not! And you may get a face to face which means you have to attend their offices when they say so, although I imagine they are flexible to an extent.
To be honest they are so busy and it is only 7 days since the court date. Did you get a call on the day re bank accounts etc? Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0 -
They are flexible. They should write to you first and if its not convenient then ring and re-arrange.
Its not even been a week, so I wouldn't worry too much.0 -
Sky mine never wrote to me which is why it was such a shock it was only 5 days later, bankrupt on the Wednesday and call on the Monday! with no warning at all, he was lovely though, really really nice. He even called me back 30 mins later, and commented I sounded ill, I had a flu type virus he asked at least 3 times was I sure I was okay to answer the questions, of course I was I wanted it over with!
I know of one person though that really was given no choice on the interview, they were told to attend, when they tried to alter it, they were told it was in their best interests to make the appointment given, so they did!

Yeah we spoke on the day, though I dont think it was THE OR, he sounded about 12!!

my OH went BR on monday and they phoned on the tuesday, he had just left for work and she then phoned back 2 days later and said it was been passed to leeds OR and they would be in touch.
they phoned about a week later , and have interview on thursday.
we got paper work off them on saturday and signed and put all the paper work (payslips , statements etc..) in the envelope that they wanted, then sent that back yesterday, it had to be returned by the 11th which is today ,it bummin cost me £5.05 to send it special delivery...
so not that long really:cool:0 -
Mine sounded young and was an assistant, oddly my case was then farmed out to another city as they must be too snowed under in my one! Which is why I think I got a phone interview had it been in my city I think they would have made me attend.
Some ORs take several weeks Messi, I know that is annoying, and I was so shocked it only took him 5 days including the weekend to phone me.
The call came on the Monday and on the Wednesday I got the forms that I had to fill in, get witnessed and send back, and I was only given 5 days to return them (again weekend included) I sent them back the following day. I put that the exemption certificate had not been included which the OR had said would be, and assumed it was not ready. Two days later I got the exemption certificate, I have heard nothing since, and hope that is it all over, but wont hold my breath.
I would not chase them up though Messi, they are pretty busy right now I think. The credit crunch is doubling bankruptcies. Would you consider your case a simple one? or has the OR got a lot of delving to do?Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0 -
What if you dont have stuff like that? I shred all mine  !!!!0

They will get it from your company then or you will have to with wage slips, and they can ask all banks for statements, and benefit people for proof etc.
You really should not shred things like that I am told for at least a year, but the OR has powers to get what he needs, it just makes his job much harder than if you could just hand them over. Some Days are Diamonds Some Days are Stones,Sometimes the hard times won't leave meBSC 162:beer:Banktupt 22 Oct 2008 at 10am!0 -
