I said what I said because I have seen lots of threads started on this forum asking for advice about R4 cards and they get locked quickly because people who don't have much idea about them lock onto the fact that they can be used illegally.
They don't care that they have other uses.


Also I mentioned about having to own the game if you are putting games onto the memory card (if you want to stay legal) because the OP said they wanted to put games onto it but that's now been edited out.


But hey, what do I know, I have an R4 card and love it.....but don't listen to me :rotfl:

Edited to add ~ Try to get a version 2 of the R4 as the memory card slot is better than the slot on the version 1.

No, no memory card, just the R4 card.

Memory cards are pretty cheap these days.

So can you download games off the internet and put it on that and play them? Sorry im a bit dumb and im getting a ds lite for christmas

Yes you can but that would be illegal.
The legal way to use it for games is that you should own the game that you want to put a back up copy of on the R4 card.
