R4 for DS Lite

Yes...looking for an R4 reader and Micro SD card, can anyone please reccomend the cheapest place for these to fit a Nintendo DS...

Don't be surprised if you get no help with this at all and the thread gets deleted or locked.
People won't talk about R4's because you are only supposed to use them if you have the original game to put on the memory card.
Downloading the game to put on a memory card when you don't own the game is naughty! :rotfl:
You are better off searching the net for info, there's lots of it out there.

R4's are perfectly legal, it's only illigal if you mis-use them.

I got mine from ebay for about £10. The R4 is a single unit, the size of a regular cartridge, it has a slot for a micro SD card that slots into the top of it.

Most R4 come with a micro SD card, but if you want a bigger one you can simply interchange them.

You can also get cartridges that slot into the bottom of the DS where the old nintendo cartridges go, its used for different things such as allowing you to have a web browser.

Don't listen to shelly, Only the illigal users give it a bad name. Using an R4 can let you turn your DS into a media centre, as well as allow you to run homebrew games (free games created by others).

It also prevents you having to carry 10+ games around in your pocket.

Thank you, it was for using it as a media centre to store mp3s etc on? but its for an xmas present, hence being quite unsure what I'm looking for.

I use the Edge card and have had no problems.

Not sure they still make the R4, although clones of it are available?

The TTDS/DSTT seems to be what most people are going for at the moment from other sites I use.
