    Hi BettiePage!

Huge thanks for the spot. As the link on that site is an affil link we've altered the link in your post to the direct link to the Argos page.
Sorry Andrea, I just posted the original hukd link so that people could thank the original op.

Just to clear some questions up, I have a 1st gen iPod Touch and having looked at the new editions in the Apple shop recently, I couldnt tell much difference except for the volume controls on the side but Im not one to worry about that as I have a software installed called PocketTouch which allows you to just run your finger up and down the screen to turn down the volume.

Its a great bargain and I would highly suggest buying the 1st gens, they can be jailbroken which some may seem as a good thing.. basically what this means is should you want to, you may install third party applications onto it whereas the 2nd generation ipod touches are locked to just Apple's appstore.

The boxing of the 1st generation is also, in my opinion much nicer (and looks more expensive)

I haven't a clue what to do here
I've just ordered a ipod nano 16gb from Littlewoods Direct and got it for £120 with a discount code instead of £150 and now this appears!!!
    What do I do??
I haven't got a clue about ipods but my DS15 wanted a Nano for his main pressie.
I have managed to reserve one of these ipod touchs' for tomorrow but need your advice. Should I stick with the Nano or go for the Touch

I'd cancel the Nano and go for the Touch.
I've always had 'normal' iPods and have picked up one of these from Argos today - it's fantastic! My 3 year old iPod was starting to give up the ghost and I almost bought a 16gb Nano for myself few weeks ago - so glad I didn't now as this is far superior.

You can install mp3 from other sources assuming it doesnt have Digital Rights Management in it. You can also rip your own from a cd
