to be sure I've created the file in the other thread posted above
it's here
http://www.mediafire.com/file/jtc0igjzmn1/platte.cmd
I'd suggest saving it to your desktop so its easy to find. Run it the first time by double clicking on it and once its completed it will tell you to restart. ( its possible that Nortons Will ask you to allow it to run)
Do so and then run it a second time, it will talk you through the process as you go so you know when to restart and what's required of you.Ex forum ambassador

No pop ups from them, and none of their wording are on my pc.
The only problem I have now is the noise. It is revving up so loud, even if I am not clicking on anything. If it isn't revving then it is just making a loud ongoing noise. It's that bad it is unbearable to carry on on the net. It doesn't make any difference by changing my volume control either.0 -
theres no infection on the Laptop that I can see, so its safe to use , that sounds more like either the fan being noisy or the hard disk making noise
try that file in post 24 to make sure the offending program files have been removed and that its not them that are causing the processor to run at high load all the time , will only take a second and can do no harmEx forum ambassador

I clicked on it and then got a black box with the wording:-
Platte Media is not installed
Completed
Press any key to continue
I pressed any key to continue and it disappeared.
So what about STOPzilla when it said there were those files Microbilling etc, what were they all about I wonder?0 -
