download the free trail version and run,its meant to clear this off , ignore the bit at the end of the install about installing realtime protection

then run a scan

turn off Nortons first , instructions how to do that here

I've read the post and made up the file in that thread, we will use it if Prevx (which is also mentioned) does not remove it

When I started running it, got a pop up from Norton saying prevx ......
always allow it . so i said yes. So don't i have to disable Norton now?

no , Prevx should install and run ok if you said yes

just installed it on My PC for a test and it scans really quickly
