I've just bought one from Argos, the Sony DPF-D70, it has a high resolution and is very nice indeed, but I can't transfer my pictures from my computer directly onto the frame like it says you can, i'm having to buy a card reader to transfer my pics onto the memory card instead but it is a lovely frame.0

I ordered the Hitachi HDC7086 digital pic frame from comet where the website specs say 800 x 600 resolution. Went to collect at the shop and the box clearly states the resolution as being 480 x 234 - therefore not such a good buy. The same model also lists in other websites eg. Laskys also at 800 x 600. Beware. Not such a good buy even at £39.99 at Comet unless Hitachi have made a huge mistake printin the packaging.0

100% same for me but I only realised when I got it home. Not even opened the box so took it back to another store (more local) and they want to charge me 10% restocking fee (I think NOT).
Will be taking it back to original store tomorrow for FULL refund.0 -
I bought my son one of these a couple of years back. It was a philips one which I think is still available. It was more pricey then (about £120) but the main reason i bought that one was that it didnt have to be connected to any power supply as it had its own built in lithium battery which meant he could put it where he wanted. Not sure if some of the cheaper ones can do that but guess it depends on where you want to put it0
