South East - Home Counties.
I've been waiting patiently too.
They are falling - but looong way to go round here till they're back at 105K for a 3 bed semi.
But please feel free to spread some of your magic dust round my way.
Carolt - me too, and we'renot finding any 3bed semi's in nice areas for less than 200k. Still it's better than the £250,000 they were going for 12months ago. Wondering whether now is a good time, we've got a great offer on a tracker with _only_ a 10% deposit, lifetime tracker at .99 above base rate.

To OP, well done, appx 15%-17.5% discount, it's sometimes very hard to get vendors to except even 10% off, even when they can see the dire straights housing market is in. We're thinking of taking the plunge too because a combination of ducks for us price, mortgage offer and affordability have all lined up. We're deciding tonight, we've been knocked back with an offer at 198k for a house on the market at 240 reduced to 220. We will see, our mortgage as a lifetime tracker might mean we don't have to remortgage for a while if IR stay low... they will until election time i guess!0
