Er no, DD. It does seem bizarrely cheap to me.

Round my way you wouldn't get a studio for that.

    Lucky OP.

Just shows - it's all how you read it, isn't it?

    Where are you from Carol?

I've been waiting patiently for the right property at the right price, i've never been in a rush.

But please feel free to spread some of your magic dust round my way. ;)

Perhaps this underlines that some areas are taking bigger hits than others and national averages cannot be relied upon?

Yes, and I guess the "That's nice dear." isn't supposed to be really patronising is it - it's just how we read it

Pull the other one carol, you've been caught out, now just say sorry to the OP and have done with it.

    Er no.

Just shows how little you know me.

I was genuinely pleased for the OP - 105K sounds very reasonable.

Why do YOU have such a problem with that?

Wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that you've just made a prat of yourself on another thread, would it? :p

Congratulations mrstinchcombe. Sounds like a good price to me dependant on what area in Bristol you are going for. I have a feeling as Bristol has benefitted from some fairly hefty rises over the last few years it will suffer some fairly hefty falls, but I reckon 105 if you are going to live in it long term will turn out to be a very good price to buy at.

Interesting. Bristol has shot up over the last 10 years. It seems to me to be a very good price just now. Wonder which part?

Go away and spread you venom somewhere else carolt, you make a fool of yourself on every thread you go on, especially the one you were referring to. Try as you might to backtrack on your comments here, even the OP was taken aback at your attitude. If you don't have anything nice to say about the OP's news then just leave her thread alone.

It's getting ridiculous when the HPC crowd start berating people for actually taking advantage of the crash and picking up bargains. I'm starting to agree with the opinoin that none of you will ever own your own home simply because you're all too scared of not buying in the absolute trough of the crash.

I for one am really pleased that the OP has found the right house for her family at the right price for her pocket. I just hope she can get the sale sorted this year and will be able to spend a very happy Christmas in her own home :D

Ignore Carolt, mrs. I. as I said before, she is quite a jealous person and seems now to have gotten it into her head that if people start buying homes it will somehow have a detrimental effect on her own home purchase.

Please carolt, don't hijack another thread to post your silly nonesense and arguments. I for one have wished the OP good luck and will now withdraw from this thread in order to prevent carolt from having even a tenuous reason to come back and try to cause an argument.

It's rumoured that she and !!!!!! send rude PMs to each other, perhaps she would do us all a favour if she stuck to that rather than starting fights everywhere!!

    Anyway, good luck OP :D
