Do you not pay the £10 in the first place? Also, is that a regular monthly top up required to get that?
With regards to keeping the £10...What I mean is that you keep it in your call credit to use for calls and additonal texts over and above the 300 Free Texts.

Still no T-Mobile fans yet. Come on where are you?
I'm only looking for a SIM card, so just a thought, if Tesco = O2, then considering what has been mentioned about the deals from O2 which would be better? Direct from O2 or via tesco?0 -
Im on T-mobile contract, I aint a fan I agree with Gizmo on that & the customer care level
( T-mobile are to Deutch Telecom what Orange are to France Telecom - money makers to prop up the parent companies )If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:0 -
I'm O2 & appreciate the rewards scheme = 10% free credit, each quater, 'cos I top up £10/month. This gives me 50texts & 50 minutes each month.
& don't forget, that when you DO top up - buy the credits, from Boots & use your Advantage Card = 4% additional savings. Pity you can't buy top ups, with these points!!

So when it comes to a PAYG choice between Tesco and O2 sim cards you're saying that overall the two are about the same in benefits but in different ways, i.e. O2 has the free extras and Tesco are just simple and cheap, is that right?
If so, are there any other downsides to choosing either of them?0 -
So far the O2 customer service sounds like something good, has anyone had any experience of Tesco mobile phone Customer service?
About unlocking and PAYG, I previously used a siemens A50 mobile phone from new which started off using a T-Mobile PAYG sim card, and then the SIM card was replaced by a Virgin PAYG sim card. The mobile phone did not need to be unlocked to do the changeover as the virgin SIM simply slotted in and worked. Is this usual?
Also, why are there no Vodafone or Orange or other companies being mentioned for PAYG, are they not so good for PAYG?0
