inset or cassette woodburning stove

Hi

Does anyone know anything about these types of fires - we currently have a Morso owl multifuel but have been advised we would get more heat from a cassette type woodburner/multifuel. I've looked at them and can't see how they would give out more heat from just the glass frontage as the rest of the fire is fitted within the chimney. Does anyone have one of this type or know anything about them?
