Interesting article online at Mobile Today:
Trading Standards is poised to clamp down on dealers who don’t pay cashback by taking the offenders to court.

It would be interesting to see whether they expand their clamp down to unfair contract terms (eg you have to send a voucher with a copy of your m4 bill on the second Tuesday of the month at midnight while wearing a santa hat :xmassmile and have 24 hours to get your claim in - I exaggerate but you have all read them). That said, as the cashback deals rely on only 30-40% of claims going through (read this somewhere?) then it may then result in the offers being withdrawn or downgraded if they are forced to honour most/all.
