Exchange and Completion Concern

If the solicitors have exchanged contracts, then the monies must be in place for the completion. Once your solicitor has completed the house is legally yours, and she must vacate. Probably she wll be clearing, she has another 3 days to do it all.....it can be done....Have faith..

What time does your solic shut on Friday?
Are you going to be there with a van full of your stuff?0 -
I don't want to read anymore scary stories!! But thanks very much for the links - some useful hints and tips in there.
Our Sols closes at 5 I assume, same with the EA. And we'll arrive with van full of stuff on Saturday morning.
By way of an update, my OH went to the house tonight and felt that something had chnaged but he wasn't sure what but in any case their furniture was still there. So I spoke to the EA today who after speaking with the vendor and visiting the house himself has reassured me it will be done in time. I live in hope and will continue to do daily drive bys despite it being 45 mins from my current house!
Thanks to everyone for the guidance!0
