Just bought a Panasonic VS6
and im in 2 minds so I thought I would share my feelings with anyone interested in buying one. The phone looks ok, a bit long but for those who arent familiar with it, its a flip design with a 2mega pixel camera. Also has video, bluetooth, GPRS, TFT screen, Wap 2.0 and the full version segas Sonic - the game is amazing even if you're not into that stuff, you will be impressed - I was! It doesnt have an external screen so you cant see who's calling,.
The button on the hinge is depressed to open the flip which is nice and the menus are nicely laid out and easy to use - no clutter.
The camera has a smart little feature that allows you take 15 sequential photos at the press of a button - not bad!
The thing I find annoying is the phone feels a bit cheap - especially when you close the flip - its a bit clunky.
Also, the biggest issue I have is that when you close the flip, the call is not terminated. I only noticed by chance. If the person you are talking to does not put the phone down and you simply close the flip, the call is still live. and your credit will be zapped. I can find an option that says ACTIVATE FLIP which does allow you to terminate the call when you close the lid but the problem is that it also automatically forces you to answer a call when you open the lid and you cant see who is calling until you have done that - its really frustrating. Has anyone else found this to be a problem|?

Very helpful, kaaloo. I am seriously thinking about buying this phone as I believe the battery life is very good, do you agree?
I think I could cope with the flip operation OK though, and I personally feel a lot of phones feel quite cheap and plasticky.0 -
Hi Rob
To be honest with you Ive not used it enough to know about the battery life as I also bought a motorola v3 which seems a bit nice than the panasonic. Having said that the Panasonic is still a pretty decent phone and if you're into games, the preloaded Sonic is very impressive!Bismillah0
