It might be worth checking out some local shops as well.
My dad always gets his irish papers in a newsagents and
brings be back some taytos, club orange, emeralds and some golden crisp
chocolate, even though its still cadburys, it tastes better
But my local asda and morrisons sells barrys tea - my parents won't drink
anything else, club drinks, red lemonade, cidona, scone and bread mix,
soup, chef sauce (red and brown) and kimberly biscuits.
I love the marshmellow and jam ones...yum!0 -
While you're all thinking about Kimberly's... does anyone know where you can get chocolate ones? I'm a sucker for em.
My 6 year old son goes MAD for these!!!
My MIL is Irish but lives in England, she pops over to visit family about once a month and brings loads back, all individually wrapped. He loves them. She comes home with a case full of food!
I'm not so keen on them myself but I do like a nice bit of white pud from superquinn xx:money: Martin Lewis Rocks!:money:0 -
Home Bargains often do the NI Tayto Cheese and Onion crisps
Sainsburys do the potato bread, soda farls, wheaten bread and a new NI bakery make called Genesis http://www.genesisbreads.com/
Farm foods used to do a 'plain' mothers pride loaf (admittedly Scottish)- it could be worth checking if they still do.The IVF worked;DS born 2006.0 -
