about the things people are happy to splurge on,
So what're your money splurging vices?
Don't you dare talk to me about splurging money!
As agreed, at noon on 7th November, I was there in Portsoken Street, London, outside the FSCS offices, in my puffin fancy dress, brandishing a "Hang Haarde" placard. How humiliating, not another Icesaver in sight! The only interested parties were a couple of bemused Japanese tourists, a flock of over amorous Trafalgar pigeons and a very officious PCSO.
Return Happy Day Away Saver @ £97.50
Non return puffin outfit @ £85.00
Placard materials @ £15.00
Fixed Penalty Notice for the Haarde quip @ £60.00
British Rail BLT sandwich @ £15.00
Total cost @ £272.50
Thanks a bunch mates! In memory of Chris Hyde #8670 -

Enjoy spending on my grandchildren.
Oh and hubby likes buying expensive new cars and TV's etc.

Instead of spending £65 on travelodge for a one night stay in bristol I spent £95 on a 4* hotel! It was the bathrobes that won me over...Kavanne

Probably right, I didn't realise that forum existed as I've never made it to reading all the way to the bottom of the front page! Maybe it's something to do with the layout?
I think my favourite splurge so far is amistupid's Puffin outfit! You could get a job in Santa's workshop with that perhaps?
