Talk Talk - Sky - Xbox! (or can I)?

Hi

My broadband/landline contract with Talk Talk is done and I already have Sky TV, so I'm looking to swap to Sky. I've had no problems with Talk Talk, I'm just looking to save money.

I get a free wireless router as part of the deal if I change.

My son tells me that he can access the internet on his Xbox, which is in our living room with our normal computer equipment.

Is there something I can plug into the Xbox - is it a dongle? - so that my new wireless router can transmit internet signals to it? That way I can power my computer broadband and the Xbox at the same time - or do I have to use a cable?

Positive advice gratefully received! :o

I have my XBOX 360 connected wirelessly to my SKY Router using this:

Not a cheap option HOWEVER it is the OFFICIAL option. It is possible to use a 3rd party wireless adapter however it can be unreliable and not 100% compatible.
  • It is indeed an Xbox 360 .... I was hoping to use a wireless connection as the computer's a bit of a distance from the telly where my boy uses his console.

    Many thanks for your replies.
