Mass Spectral Analysis of Ethyl-4-Hydroxybenzoate - Help!

Ok, I'm analysing a Mass Spectrum of Ethyl-4-Hydroxybenzoate but there is a peak on the Mass Spectrum at m/z = 65. I have no idea what this could be and I've drawn several A4 sheets of fragmentation patterns, to no avail.
Molecular Formula:

Mass Spectrum (peak at 65 is the one I can't characterise!):

If anyone knows/could work out what fragment of this molecule could be Mass = 65, please could you let me know as this is driving me absolutely crazy (as my username would suggest)!
I'm not sure where I should post this so if it needs to be moved, please do so!
Cheers!

Is this any help:

Failing that, try cleaning your mouse!Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0 -
It could be one of these.........(after all, this is a moneysaving site, not Oxford University Online)How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?

If I'm not mistaken your mass spectrum at m/z should be 66, not 65!0 -
Thanks for that - I had a look at the MS but it's definitely at 65, with minor peaks at 63, 64, 66. Ah well I guess this is a moneysavers forum but I thought I'd give it a go!!
I'm wondering whether it is possible for the molecule to fragment at two places on the benzene ring simulatneously as that would help solve this puzzle.
It's gonna be a loooooooong Christmas...0 -
sounds to me like the oscillator on your fluffle valve has gone, this is a common problem with incongruent !!!!!! spec and can be severly affected by quatum phasic buckinsterfulorine in the flux capacitator.
I hope you get this sorted soon
Happy xmas

@catzeyes
I think you will find that it is more than likely the rim bolt stuck open that is allowing
steam to pass through the flange valve, letting the gonad pipe cool down.0 -
Yeah BUT where do you buy them - anyone got any discount codes?K eep

I'm only analysing the spectrum not actually doing the Mass Spec myself. And do I hint a sense of sarcasm/comedy names in the last few posts?0
