  • Morning all

Grim horrible day here!! Unfortunately I have to go back out in it later and I'm bound to get soaked as little one doesn't share my sense of urgency in getting from car to house!!!!

Bit of a funny day but here goes with my efforts:

    * Did Mrs Mop job so fuel paid for this week
    * Sent letter to another creditor chasing me since change in CCCS payments
    * Rang hubby with good news that his biggest creditor is happy with his payments through CCCS
    * Storecupboard dinner (findus crispy pancakes....blast from the past, hevn't had them in ages!!)
    * Look up recipes for sweets for Dads birthday hamper (god help him, I'm making him some sweets instead of buying this year!)
    * Heating on low as freezing but drying washing on radiators at same time
    * Charge mobile at work

Have good Mondays all....only another four days till the weekend!

    :xmassmile 45 SLEEPS TILL CHRISTMAS!!:xmassmile

    Miss P
    xx

  • Hello, I hope it's ok for me to join in with this thread as it will help to keep me motivated each day :)

    Today I have:
    Worked out my budget.
Made 3 apple & 2 cherry crumbles for the freezer.
Grated & frozen cheese in bags ready for hm pizzas.
Eaten hm leek & potato soup for lunch, there's enough left for a few more meals.
Made curry for dinner tonight using leftovers from yesterday.
Hung washing on airer instead of using dryer.
    Spent nothing so far!

Have a nice day everyone :)

Oh, forgot to add to my DFW list - I'm going to be showering at work on gym days, so I will not have a shower in the morning on those days to save hot water. Don't worry, I'm not a smelly person :)

And also I found about seven old bottles of suncream when I was clearing out a drawer yesterday. I know they're out of date for sunscreen, but they'll still make good moisturisers so that's my body cream sorted for about the next three years! I can't bear to chuck them out, suncream is so expensive.
  • Hello my lovely DFW's!

Just got home to find OH left the heating on before going to work after me so its been on all day:mad: He WILL make it up to me - preferably in wine! :rotfl:

    Today I have/will:
    • Worn brightest socks I could find - blooming awful weather today
    • LSD
    • Had productive morning at work
    • Took packed lunch
    • Took friend to hospital appointment this afternoon
    • She then bought me a wispa to say thanks...yummmmm!
    • Check online banking
    • Check OH online banking
    • Soon to start huge pile of washing up
    • Then will make storecupboard tea
    • Washing at 30
    • Clothes on airer
    • Spend an hour or so browisng through the forums
    • Check freecycle
    • Early night for both of us after a fantastic weekend - means heating will be turned off earlier!
KtJazz - I know you have already had some great suggestions but just thought I would put my two pence worth in: My GP has recommeded livinglifetothefull.com which is an online life skills course. I'm just getting started on it, seems a positive thing. Also a book called Manage Your Mind. Hope that's of some help :grouphug:

Olive Oyl - great to see you back

Debtfreesomeday - I have everything crosed, let us know how it goes

    Have a lovely evening everyone
