And LLs tend to get going faster, because, unlike a bank, they have no security for the debt.
Honestly, I'm sure from my own experience that it takes a lot longer to get repossessed than evicted.
None of the above applies to councils, though.
I thought you were an imigration barister?
Have you been repossessed?0 -
Links please, or it all gets tiresomely 'he said, she said'. Let people make up their own minds.
I know you don't like !!!!!!, chucky, any more than you like me, as we stand on differing sides of the house crash divide - but that doesn't make you the most reliable witness to whatever !!!!!! is supposed to have said.
I say this as someone who has been selectively misquoted - or just downright made up - by DD in the past, hence my scepticism.....
there is a link in his post is there not?0 -
of course he isn't, but neither am I but I've never claimed to be either - the last search on another thread was 23 single posts that he used the word Retard and then found it funny that he used it.
this time there is only 11 posts of him using it - funny that
http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/search.html?searchid=41705565
someone has been deleting!!! funny that he accuses other of deleting but he has been doing it himself - what a hypocrite!!
he's the self proclaimed King of the Forum so you're not allowed to say anything, otherwise all his other user names pop-up - Banderman, Fatpig, Napoleon, Pizza Girl, Downey etc....
Chucky you are right it was me who posted the link on another thread. ) I have just checked and lots of threads of been deleted but perhaps it was the mods?)
The man who said he never delete's seems to have changed his mind.:rolleyes:0 -
Is there?
I just searched through this thread, and, unless I'm missing something, DD has wiped the post concerned - my only record of it is Miss Moneypenny's response.
Which has no link.
Or - more likely - it was removed by Abuse, as a flagrantly abusive post.
But surely, if DD wasn't making it up, he can find the relevant link for me quickly?
Or chucky?
Come on!
Either it's made up, or you can give us the link, given you both claim to have seen it.
When I've viewed the posts in question, I will then be in a position to express shock/horror/whatever.
Until then - sounds like nonsense to me.0 -

oh Carol - what are we going to do with you to make you understand the most simple things...
there is a link in my post with the search results. if facts are tiresome - i apologise.
here is the original post that had the original search 22 results

believe or selectively believe what you like Carol - but 22 times isn't being selectively misquoted.
regardless of which imaginary side you're on of a house crash divide it's irrelavent - the use of the word is wrong.
by the way - i'm not on ANY side just don't like certain individuals trying to get a point across by using larger font on their posts and choosing selective headlines. being realistic is much better.0 -

So we have no proof.
Ho hum.
I'd be more inclined to take your posts seriously than chucky's or DD's, realy, but as far as I can recall, you never saw these particular posts either.
So let's assume they are 'mythical'. :rolleyes:0 -

Carol - the posts are mythical.
Just like the links that I have put in the posts they are mythical too. I've given you the links and you decide to ignore them. How very sad of you.
As Brodders says Carol - I do now think you have a malfunction going on. I seriously hope that you sort it out. And I really hope that this isn't interpreted as abuse because I want it to come across as advice and something that you should have looked at.0 -

Posts removed by mods generally have any replies which quote them removed too. If there are lots of people quoting it, the thread gets removed.--
Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.0 -

Yes, and no.
But I did work as a law clerk for the 6 months before I started pupillage (2001) doing both mortgage and rental possession hearings, an average of 12 - 13 a week....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
