hang up on yours calls and call you liars
what,ever discount anne summers offer these bar-stewards offer gets wiped out

Although its good to get a heads up on things like this, could you give a little more info? its hard to know what to make of a post like this until I have some real info so I can see whats gone on!

Perhaps I can shed some light on the matter.

I ordered some items from Ann Summers via quidco. My husband was with me as I entered the order.

Now, I do not believe my dear heart would have noticed but I did. One of the items came with free thingy. However at each stage of the checkout process a thingy was added that you had to pay for. I diligently kept deleting this item and the free thingy reappeared. I concluded that there may be free delivery and cashback but that you still had to watch the checkout like a hawk.

Perhaps the OP had a similar experience. Have you contacted Ann Summers to see if it can be sorted out? A polite call or email can often have good results.

I would also like to add that they automatically kept adding another item, and I did have to watch for that as well.

I also want to add that while the OP may wish to explain further, there is absolutely no need whatsoever to go into detail about the purchase or the intended purpose of that purchase.

It doesn't matter what the "thingy" is - it's the transaction/financial/credit details that are important. Let's call the item "book" & please hear some details about what other Anne summers users need to be aware of, as I have not (yet?) had problems with buying from them, online or in store.

I placed an order with them online a few years ago, for over £100. Just silly Xmas prezzies and hen party stuff.
Parcel never arrived.
Rang to sort it out, promised refund, to cut a very long story short, it took me nearly 18 months to get my money refunded! :mad:
They promised refund/never happened/chased up so many times I lost count and ran out of time with credit card helping me.

Wouldn`t touch with a barge pole now, too much hassle.

I think you do have to watch their check out process extremely closely.

After all, I was quite happy ordering thingies, but dear heart did get a little giddy and could easily have missed another five or ten pounds added 'automatically' to the order. Otherwise I cannot fault their service, and of course I get cash back.
