we bought a breathable waterproof mattress which is superb, it is made from the same material as tents are made from and was only £89, the website was called furniture247.co.uk and it arrived the next day, highly recommended0

Hi there,
had a similar problem - bought a plasticy mattress protector - found by googling waterproof mattress. In order to keep Mum comfortabler we use a mattress cover on top and then on top of the sheet a kylie. Not sure if that is how you spell it but wonderful for incontinence. It is a fleecy top and absorbs so someone is not lying in a wet patch. Mum's carers told us about it but I am sure incontinence specialists should help. Mattress protector zips around the mattress so is very effective.
Good luck with the search,

Most bed retailers will also sell them. Beware as they come in different qualities, and many are budget quality.0 -
