    HI OAP

Just a quick question. I'm having problems with my 'Doro' big button in that I can't hold down the figure 1 to access voicemail, if fact, it doesn't even seem to indicate that I have a voicemail message. Any other phone I've had had this 'hold down 1' access to voicemail.

Can your new phone access voicemail on one key as if so, it would be a lot more use to me.

Off the top of my head, will check in the morning, you press the sms button, scroll down to message, then choose sms or voicemail,so you just click on voicemail, I tried it by sending one to myself via our landline phone.

If its any different will doanother post, but pretty sure I have remembered it correctly, cheers, oap

Not quite right, there is menu and sms on keypad, you press the menu, then message, then choice of sms or voicemail, takes seconds, regards oap:j

  • Hi,

Thanks for all the useful Information.
After reading all of your posts, I decided to buy my Mum the Binatone Big button mobile. It is absolutely fantastic!!! She is thrilled with it!
It has big buttons, its so simple to use, yet still looks modern.

I went to Matob Shop. its only £49.00 on this site, which is the cheapest I could find it.

    Thanks
    :D

    Is this the manual?

Its in MS Word (or Open Office) format.

That doc says that the default password is 0000.
Of course, it is possible that a previous user has changed that default.

in which case a phone call to the service provider might reset it, but if the phone is still registered to previous owner it might get complicated!

You see loads of offers on mobiles, Tesco ; Asda; Argos they all give basic phones almost free now when you take air time. Bur ask for a phone with buttons that you see and the price shoots up.
I'm sure they could do these cheaper, they're nothing fancy.
