who said anything about torn wiper blades? they werent an issue at all
I Think he meant that having a sunstrip thing would mean that the wipers could age quciker and begin to tear

thank you,thats exactly what i meant,i never said anyone mentioned wiper blades,but with them rubbing off the sunstrip the ends of the blade will start to tear.
either take the strip off or drive the car without an mot. the choice is yours.
expensive sunstrip when caught without MOT though....work permit granted!0
