I'm puzzled as to why you left £1K on the card? This £1K equates to around 6 months repayments at 2% minimum payment.SHAGGY84 wrote:I recieved my ltsb card today so i rang up to activate it and ask what the credit limit was before doing this £3500 i was gutted so i moaned a bit passed to some one else who upped it to £10k fantastic and balance transfered 9k to egg!!!!!!
As the card only has 0% on BT's you can't spend on it (due to the order of payments) - so why not use the full credit limit for the BT?0 -
This may be one of the cc's that only let you transfer 90% of your credit limit, which would explain this.0

Because i have some credit card purchases on my halifax card that i am putting on today then i am going to balance transfer tomorrow to ltsb which will take me up to the limit. I knew i was about to spend this amount tomorrow so saved it till friday so i get intrest free for 9 months on my purchases as well :j :j :j
