My Egg money card has arrived today.
I've just posted off the LTSB credit agreement.
I'm just waiting to see what credit limit they give me now.
What sort of numbers might I see? £3K? Or am I asking how long a piece of string is?

20p savers club = £23.400 -

Good news. LTSB card has arrived today with a £5K limit. I was expecting £3K.
I'm going to balance transfer "from" my Egg account. I don't see anything unusual in transferring the full £5K balance? Or should I do a few smaller, random transfers?Happy chappy0 -
Just ask them how much they will let you transfer
and do one big one.
They let me transfer my total limit minus £100
to Egg Money, no problems.

Does the LTSB cc appear in my LTSB online banking once it's up and running? I'm just waiting for the card to arrive now, but it doesn't show in my account list.Happy chappy0

Even before receiving a letter of approval, the card was listed on my online banking account.tomstickland wrote:Does the LTSB cc appear in my LTSB online banking once it's up and running? I'm just waiting for the card to arrive now, but it doesn't show in my account list.
Therefore, answer: yes it does appear on your account list with your CL.0 -
yes Tomstickland, mine appeared before I got my card. Lloyds seem very efficient
unlike HSBC

I recieved my ltsb card today so i rang up to activate it and ask what the credit limit was before doing this £3500 i was gutted so i moaned a bit passed to some one else who upped it to £10k fantastic and balance transfered 9k to egg!!!!!!0

OK, I phoned up to activate the card and did my first stooze. I wuzzed out and asked for £4850 to be balance transfered. I've done the math:
If I stick it in a 4% payer and pay back the 2% min per month I'll make £118 over 9 months. If I stick it in a 5% payer then I'll make £147. If I'd BTd the whole £5K then I'd make another £3.70ish extra.
They also said that the cc would appear on my online banking automatically any time within the next few days.Happy chappy0
