Thanks :) Forgot how much I enjoyed doing it!

Still stressing over this raffle prize thing though, feel horribly sick at the thought of phoning people and my face has gone all tingly which I know is because I'm panicking :(

Ok I've made an appointment for the dog to go to the vet for her boosters and just e-mailed the person who asked me to get a couple more raffle prizes saying I'll e-mail and see what I can do but I'm having a bit of a problem with panic attacks :(

It's great! Although I don't usually get to see him in the whole garb which is a shame, well unless he's forgotten to take his lunch with him!

Same here, DH always used to go to work and come home in half blues.

It does remind me of the time I took A & W to see him at work one day. It was quiet and we got KFC for them to eat whilst DH and I caught up (like ships in the night due to the shifts at times) DH got a call and went to see what was happening, I saw him coming back towards us with a baddie in cuffs. I told A & W if they saw him they must not shout out 'Hello Daddy' or 'Daddy's got a baddie'!!! They were very good and had HUGE grins as he passed, Daddy give them a wink as he escorted the baddie to 'prison' :D

I really must write all these things down for them as W will not remember at all (too young) and Miss A might not recall either.

What about one of your jewellery pieces? I have no idea of the cost or the time to make one but it could be a great way of advertising your wares ;) And please don't panic if people ask at the last minute it is more a reflection of their lack of preparation than yours.

Gryfon I have just been going through the Christmas presents and have a spare boot bag, you know the ones to keep muddy walking boots in while you get home after a ramble. I ordered a couple for my Mum and Dad last year and I was sent an extra one in error. If it's any use then PM me your address and I'll get it in the post to you tomorrow

I've been pressing the "thanks" button but it seems a bit random!

And very slow to post and change pages.

OK this will get you ALL laughing

I was panicking a bit (ok starting to panic a lot) about Christmas presents. Usually we are quite organised and have bought most things for all on our list by now. So this morning I decided I had better see what I have got so far. I usually update a spreadsheet on excel and keep a copy with me at all times but this year I haven't done one. So having raided all the places I stash things and having found pressies that should have been birthday presents earlier in the year :rotfl: I did an old fashioned pen and paper list. Then counted up all that I have bought (some from very early this year) and there were 79 things at least!!!!!

So assigning things to various names I reckon there are only a couple of people on the list with nothing yet and a few stocking fillers to buy. Phew one happy AnW's Mum!
