I have also done the bathroom - just so I don't have to do it tomorrow when I'm working! Can't jump in puddles here as it isn't raining today - wall to wall sunshine! I have DS1 home as he's free until after lunch, and also DD as she had bad tummy pains, so I picked her up for an hour or so and some ibuprofen. They're playing on Guitar Hero, that DS1 bought for himself and arrived today... very funny to watch! Quite a bit of sibling rivalry going on.

My curtain poles were delivered as well! So, I'm a step nearer having curtains in the livingroom for the first time in two years - I quite like it without, but it is chilly in the winter. I may go up to Bluewater at the weekend and look at the fabrics in John Lewis. I'm sure DD will be up for a shopping trip, although I think I'll have to get her to sign an agreement that I'm not buying anything for her to wear while we're there!

Tuttifrutti - :hello:Great to have you back!

Hugs to all the poorly ones.

Lady-liberty - can I suggest that you delete Monday and Tuesday's lists, and then you'll feel so much more positive! The room will come round again next week!

    Afternoon all

Two loads of washing out on the line, including my bedding. It's dry and bright but not very windy so it's not drying as well as yesterday. Still, at least it's outside in the fresh air.

Remade my bed. Dusted all the bedrooms and vacuumed them all and the landing and bathroom/toilet floors. Cleaned all the upstairs mirrors.

Vacuumed down the stairs then dusted the living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Then I sat down for an hour and felt sorry for myself for no apparent reason.

So I got up and got my Stardrops and a cloth and cleaned some skirting boards and paintwork. It's better. Not great but better. Still feeling moody even though my problems are really trivial compared what what other people are dealing with. I also cleaned the mud off the back doorstep. Again.

Off to read the board now, hope everyone's OK.

Ooh, and I did some vacuuming round the computer, very carefully.

Well, finally having that cup of tea I promised myself an hour ago. Game stew is in the slow cooker, another load of washing on the line and another load washing at the mo. Granary loaf in the BM. Also did do the outside of the south kitchen window as that was the worst. Am now contemplating tackling my little stockpile cupboard to see exactly what I've got in there.

In the last half hour I've put bread dough on for rolls and made some blueberry muffins. DD also rang and asked me to make soup! Not done that yet though, coz I'm still on slomo mode!
