    Morning all

I've taken a chance and hung a load of washing out, it's quite bright out there so far.

Generally tidied round and peeled the spuds for tea.

Going out with DDs to garden centre later to look at Christmas stuff. I don't need anything but I do love to look at it.
  • Morning all.

Ive got ironing to do, cleaning bathroom ( top to botto) hoover bedrooms and dusting.

Yesterday I sorted out conservatory, living room and some of kitchen.
Sarah, who is trying to make small changes :money:

Well I can't do much more decorating wise at the moment. Mr Tag is putting a third coat of the pink on and it is looking better. Still not sure whether or not I like it though. The colour changes depending on the light IYSWIM:rolleyes: Still DD says it's OK so I suppose I will have to live with it.

On the flying front have tidied the kitchen and LR which now both need doing again:rolleyes:
One load of washing drying in the airing cupboard and towels on now to be hung outside. Means I can play with my pegs!!:p

Think I might do some ironing and tackle the MB a bit. Bit of wardrobe tidying and decluttering.

    Want a tip?
    You can have mine! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
All this talk of washing machines and tumble driers has proved fatal for my TD. It's almost 4 years old, and was making an awful noise back in January. The repair chap said then that it had done well, so we've been lucky to manage this long. I think DH might have to make another tip trip later today.

DD1 (Darling Doggie 1 - not daughter, as I only have one of those TG) frightened me this morning as he choked on his breakfast.:eek:_pale_ Both dogs have always eaten dried food, usually a particualr brand that does home deliveries. They let me down with a delivery, so I had to get something else to last till the next one's due and I think the nuggets were just too big. I've told DH we'll have to damp it down for him. He was getting really panicky and it's not easy to do the Heimlich manouevre on a dog! :rotfl:

Craftyscholar - be bold! Go PINK!!!. My mum had lovely white hair! She had alopecia for years, gradually grew back, had a perm and when the hairdresser took the curlers out, she was white! We used to call her "Snowy" in a TinTin voice. :D (Or Snowflake, or Snowdrop!)

Lady-Liberty - ((((hugs)))) hope you managed to get some sleep. Take it easy.

GandB - how is LO today?

Oh well, must go and do a gentle hover (see - I'm still being good!) with a SS of the essentials. I'm taking a drive over to North Somerset a bit later to collect DD, but may do a bit of ironing to keep the pile down.

Have a good day, everyone. x

  • Morning all.

I am late up as i had a lie in. DS2 was in with us from about 1ish again as i felt so woozy when trying to settle him back down i just relented. He is fairly good and doesn't wriggle about (yet). DH decided to put him back in his cot about 6:30ish, where he woke within about 5 minutes, so i made DH get up with him, and i stayed in bed till after 9 while he fed the kids and dressed them.

DH has run the steriliser for me, i have just got the WM on. We were going to do the food shop but M was hell on earth last weekend, so i think i will go on Tuesday when DS1 is at nursery.

It's bright here today, so i think i need to get the wet washing from yesterday out on the line, and then let this load join them. We are off to the light switch on after lunch. I need to make some batter mix up for toad in the hole, and peel some veggies.

I also need to motivate DH to tidy the garage. The light bulb exploded in there last night and he will need to get that sorted as it tripped all the power, and my TD is in there - needs new fuse wire he said.

I did well last night with the wrapping. Everything we have bought i wrapped. DS2 has not a lot, but i guess it doesn't really matter as he will be getting on for 8 months. Most of DS1's stuff was fairly cheap, but there is quite a bit of it. I still have 7 members of my close family to buy for, and some extra little stocking fillers i think, so i had best tackle it. I don't want any stress this year. All of it needs to be done by the time DH finishes work (which we think will be around the 22nd) as we want to toilet train charlie over xmas, and also chill out a bit - we certainly deserve it.

Anyway, best get on a bit. Everything takes so long with the kids in tow that we had best start. enjoy the sunshine if you have it. ;) x
