Want a tip? Never go to stables! Instead ask around for anyone with a pony or child friendly horse near you. They are ALWAYS skint and usually more than happy to give a wee lesson or a pony trek once a week for a few quid. Especially look for those with little ponies and older kids, chances are they bought the pony for the kids who outgrew it but tehy keep the pony cos it's cheap to feed and they loves it.
*tia, who is being talked into getting a wee welshie for the kids by her Dad who allready has a horse of his own and is skint*:rotfl:

Should be easy enough to do yourself. The problem comes when you try to manoeuvre it into position as they can weigh a ton so be careful if you do try it alone.
I plumbed MY washer in myself...and I feel awful because I didn't think to put my washer tip on - when moving a washer - on vinyl or tiles squirt washing up liquid under the feet - it will glide into position much more easily and without tearing the vinyl if you are careful. Unlike oil it is water soluble and will mop up...
Sarah - bored by any chance? Or just impressed by Soappie - Action Flylady :rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Just put the washing machine on a quick cycle with nothing it - the drum just doesn't want to go round at all. Hey ho. Think I might just nip down the nearby retail park and see what deals they have on.
at the risk of getting it wrong again...:p... have you looked at the belt? I presume you have soappie, coz you're not as dumb as me, but just thought I'd ask - if not, it could be the bearings as that's what went on mine...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

Hi
I have wrapped about half of what i have so far. Ds1 and SDs helped me. All wrapped ones are now in one cupboard and the unwrapped ones are in another. I just need to find a home for all the stuff i slung on the bed:rolleyes: and update my list.
Lil-me i usually wait until christmas eve to wrap but it always stresses me out too much:o . Last year i wrapped everything a couple of days before christmas and found it a lot less stressful. This year i want it all done before December.0 -
I must be the only one who sits up until early hours Christmas eve, well actually Christmas morning, wrapping stuff up :rotfl:
That's me - church, kids to bed, wine out start the wrapping and place under the tree as you go. I really am last minute lil.The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
I spent one Christmas eve..after I'd been to the pub - icing the cake...you could tell, too :rotfl:Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

I have now had TWO presents given to me - one by the recipient, one by wife of the recipient to wrap and give back. All I have to do is shell out the moola. Now what does THAT tell you?
Mind you one year MIL gave me the money to get the kids presents. I did...and I wrapped them and put them with our gifts (as if from FC). I told OH I was happy to do the shopping BUT I would put the gift with the rest of the stash. She never asked me to do it again. There was (and is) NO REASON why she cannot do her own shopping...just fluffing idle!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
