  • Poor Triker hope you manage to get it sorted out.

Well I am just going to 'flutter' today in too much pain to fly, but I want to try & keep on top of the basics incase I suddenly get called into hospital. DH is home today, so hopefully if I give instructions he may do a few things:rolleyes:

Hugs to all, hope poorlies are feeling a bit better xx

    Hi

I'm sorry I havn't had a chance to look at the thread at all yet, but for all those kind enough to be thinking about me, I had a scan today & they have found a lump/growth the size of a 'watermelon' attached either to the ovary or uterus, until they have done further tests I won't know, but whatever & wherever it has to come out ASAP:eek: .

No flying done, but will have a little potter now, hope to be back later.

Huge hugs to you all :A xx

Good grief :eek::eek: I hope they get you in and get it out pronto. You take it easy. We are all thinking of you. :grouphug:

soappie if you wash your bedding today then you've got two chances (two days) to try and get it dry...Good Luck with the car.

Ahh, but therein lies the problem - I have no spares! I am soooooo fussy about my bedding (thick, heavy, luverly egyptian cotton) that I only have one set so it needs to be washed and dried in one day. I'm too mean to use the tumble drier unless I REALLY have to...

Here is a letter I sent to M&S in the summer re the same problem - they never did reply.

I am interested in your Plan A and how it is going. I see that I can visit your website and use your calculator to assess my carbon footprint. That is all well and good but as I see it I am already doing a lot more than yourselves concerning my footprint.

I visited your London Colney store this week. It was a regular british summer day, sunshine, showers about 18 degrees. I was dressed accordingly in a skirt, T shirt and cardigan (none from your range I must admit as it is dire this summer but that is another subject). I went into your food hall to have a look around and it was freezing, I am talking shiveringly cold. The design of your chillers pumping cold air into the atmosphere is quite ridiculous. How can this possibly be going green? You must use more electricity in that part of the store in a day than we do at home in an entire year. Apart from the complete waste of power it made for a very uncomfortable environment and thus I was too cold to browse around and left.

I’d be interested to hear your views on this subject.

:rotfl::rotfl:Love the letter. I must admit that much as I'd love to browse M&S foodhall (browsing is as much as I can afford:rolleyes:) the Siberian temperatures put me off.

Right well that's me done. It's been a pleasure to know and fly with you all. I'm now off to commit myself to the local asylum.:rotfl::rotfl::wave:

G&B...how scary! Hope she gets better soon

lady liberty...eeeep! That doesn't sound good, hope they manage to get it out alright :kisses3:

Brief update on me...I'm in pain :( Wasn't too bad sleeping as I was nice and warm which I think helped (thank goodness for electric blankets!), but as soon as I sat up this morning..ooooooooooowwwwwwww! So it's aching now, taken some co-codamol and waiting for that to kick in. At least I can just about waddle around the house. And to add insult to injury I have a sore throat and a cough  I was hoping that I would be able to go out tonight with the girls but I'm not so sure now :(

Taking things easy today, think I might go down to my parents this afternoon and let them run around after the children for me :rotfl:
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!
