    Hi Guys

Got loads to catch up on with you lot and am about to take Miss A swimming but wanted to let you know I am around!

Anyone with Morrisons close by have a look. Ours and one that is closer to valli is advertising a collect 4 x £40 weekly spends receipts by 14th Dec to qualify for a £20 off a £40 spend between 15th Dec and 24th Dec. Guess where I am going after swimming  Miss A will be doing her maths homework while we are in there :rotfl::rotfl:

I have had a difficult week on the flying front as DS decided to move out!!
He had been planning to for some time but he got his date suddenly this week and off he went. He is only across the city a short distance but he hasn't really planned anything properly - he's 19 so I suppose that is to be expected. He's coming back for his PC this weekend and then I sahll be attacking his room. I haven't reeally set foot in it for a long time so I'm expecting to have to scrape it rather that S&S:rotfl:

Also the lappy has had a virus so I have ben off-line for a few days, but now back though no fully caught up with the thread.

G&B - hope LO is much better today, and hope you managed to get some sleep yourself.

Lady-L, I hope you got some sleep as well, I know the pain of u/c myself very well. You could really have done without the weekend worring about the scan on top of that.

Well I suppose I should really go and do some of the jobs on my list for today before I end up sat here all morning, WM has just finished so will go hang stuff up:D

    Just caught up...

g&b - hugs and very best healing vibes for you and DD

lady-liberty - hugs for you, and also lots and lots of good wishes.

TAG - not mad at all, I decorate like that! I usually do a room straight after Christmas, as work is often thin on the ground, and I'm in that kind of mood. I know if I do all the bits properly (including sanding down all the woodwork and revarnishing) then it is five days work - or only two if I leave out the woodwork! I am very bad at doing all the finishing off touches, I need Flower to come round and sort me out!

gryfon - I gardened for years for someone with chronic spinal pain, so I really feel for you. I find that a wheat pillow that can be heated in the microwave is safest for the children to manage.

Hugs to all the other poorlies and littlies and hope that you are all soon recovered.

I'm supposed to be going Bluewater (large shopping mall about an hour's drive away) with DD today, but she's only just emerged from bed - oh well, I suppose it doesn't make that much difference what time we go! I'll go do some planning for next week.

DS2 is out for the weekend, unexpectedly. Best mate phoned last night, to say his Dad had four tickets to see Man U play today (work's outing, but the other three dropped out) and would DS2 like to go? He's not a big fan or anything, but I told him to grab the opportunity, as tickets are like gold dust, and he may not get another chance. So, I dropped him over at friend's after dinner, and he'll be back tomorrow.

DS1 cooked a brilliant steak and mushroom pie yesterday - just need to do a little fine tuning on preparing veggies at the same time, and clearing up and washing up after:D

I'll do a bit of flitting about the house this weekend, washing already in...

Julie I am in. late but never mind.

Still full of cold or what ever it is I have, finally mananged to drag my self out of bed at 9.30am and into the bath.

    WM on
    Kitchen floor washed and swept
    Bed stripped and re made
Bathroom wash basin and bath cleaned
1000's of socks paired up, where do they all come from.
    Kitchen sides all cleaned
    Bin emptied and sorted
    Fridge cleaned out

Anwmum my local Morrison is doing the same, but I don't spend £40 per week, so not much use to me, but for a family I think it is a great bargin.

    Lady L hugs.

    GB what a shock

Off to hoover and do a bit more catch you all later

    Morning everyone,

Today's the day then. Amazingly Mr Tag is already up and he has loaded the DW and S&S the kitchen.........totally unprompted:eek: I think he may have been swapped during the night.;)

Ooooh, can you arrange that or book it in or something, I'll swap mine too... is it like the bodysnatchers and they still look the same, just different attitudes? brilliant!

Good luck today Tag, I love decorating but hubby never wants to join in, just on the knocking walls down bit - hope it goes well...

  • Not really had a chance to catchup on the thread, have scanned some of the pages - hope everyone is ok, any word from lady liberty or have i missed that bit?

Eventful night last night, LO was a little under the weather when i dropped her off at the inlaws yesterday afternoon before i went to work. Nothing major just a bit of a cough/runny nose, bit pale. Got a phone call at work from hubby about midnight saying his dad phoned and was really worried as she wasnt breathing properly:eek: Que mad dash across town to go pick her up and take her to hospital(may have been stopped by police for speeding, but they let me go when i explained).
Got her to A&E and she has a pretty nasty chest infection, her oxygen saturation level was down at about 75% which is really not good. Rushed straight through to resusc where they managed to stabilise her, left when she was transferred up to the ward so i could get some sleep. Need to go relieve hubby of his duties up at the ward as he has been up for well over 24hrs now and must be knackered:o Just having a quick cuppa first.

Glad your LO was taken in quickly, hope she is feeling better today - nasty things chest infections. Hugs and stuff sent your way...:A

serena...think I might have to get one of those as well, so when one is warming I can use the other! And it has to happen as soon as Mr G goes back to work...couldn't happen during all those months he was off...oh no!
