Evening all,
Back from a wedding up North (stayed overnight) so just having a lazy evening. Lovely mum had popped round yesterday/ today and did a few bits of housework for us (she can’t help herself!).;)
My dfw things for today;- Took home two sachets of unused ketchup from cooked breakfast as it would be binned anyway.
- Charged toothbrush/mobiles for ½ hour whilst we were at breakfast
- Ate some bananas that were starting to go brown on the drive back
- Will do mutual point e-mail click throughs shortly
- Mum left us 2 bottles of water, onion and lemon for free
- Tesco – got 2 points for bag reuse although should have been 4
- Tesco – used 25p off any Ecover product for a discontinued Ecover cleaner at 49 or 59p
- Tesco used 15p when you spend over £1 on cheese, 30 extra points for being a food member and another extra points coupon for buying something else
- Tesco - Got receipt with points added at customer services
- Tesco -Found a receipt with 4 or 5 points which I will get added next time
- Asked member of staff to price reduced cans of Tesco diet cola as there was no price sticker. He said he marked it down to ½ price for me £1.18
- Got 2 Tesco till spits with our shopping
- Ripped out money off coupons from my magazines and put into purse
- Used £3+ coupons off when buying a few magazines, papers, fizzy juice in Asda
- Put away cans of Tesco diet cola (to take when we go out rather than drinking at home)
- Collected my free energy light bulb in Poundland (D Star paper)
- Will cut out coupon for free microwave sausages from Asda later (D Mirror paper from memory)
- Brought a duplicate magazine so I will list on ebay tonight and hope I get something back for it
- Asda – obviously having another weekend clearout, got employee to put stickers on some colourful clips for me 70p (originally 2 pds), 1 x 2pk tea towels 50p (down from 1 pd something) and 1 20 clear A4 display folder for 25p (down from 50p
- Checked out Asda’s reduced dry iems section – all still very expensive and barely reduced
- Boots – used points, DH will give me money equivalent back
- Got more bids on my Ebay items
- Did washing at 30 deg and hung indoors
- Took rubbish (banana peels, leaflets) from inside car to put in our house recycle bins instead of putting it in a random bin which won’t be recycled.
- Left my sister my bus pass as I am working from home tomorrow.

thank you as always fay and andan
I can access a library of self help books from my mums book shelf. I dip into them from time to time but I am beginning to think I am always looking in the wrong places.
I have too much to change to change it all in one go. I just don't know which thing to start with. I have a list....
I am going to check out those websites though, hopefully give me some inspiration.
Thanks everyone. I need you guys.

Listed 17 items on ebay
Went to Boots and bought the Elizabeth Arden eyeshadow set (for my Mum's Christmas present), a no7 nail colour (for my Mum's Christmas present) and some cold and flu remedy for DH. Used £5 off no7 voucher (to get the nail colour for £1.50) and my Prima magazine voucher to get the eyeshadow free. Total was then £6.49. Used £3 Luncheon vouchers from p*cone and the other £3.49 in Advantage points. So the whole lot cost me nothing.
I have been collecting £5 no7 vouchers, vouchers from magazines to get free cosmetics to make up a box of cosmetics for my Mum. I even got some brand new sealed stuff from Freecycle. All in all she now has a nice gift box of over £60 worth of cosmetics which cost me no more than a fiver.I am a Travel Agent My company’s ATOL/ABTA numbers are E7760/3970.
