Hi mys son has blocked his phone and used up all the tries given to un-block it now it just keeps asking for a sim card when i put the sim in nothing happens please please help

You mean he's entered the wrong PIN number? This happens after a few wrong tries. You need what is called the PUK (PIN Unlock Code). This will possibly be written on the large version of the SIM, or the paper that it was stuck to when it was new, or similar. Or you may need to contact the network, prove ID, and ask them for it.0
