Where can I buy pregnancy pelvic support belt?

  • I got a belt from a physio - there are 2 kinds - one that kind of supports your bump, and one that pulls your pelvis in tight, so it can't move around... I ended up with one of each and the second kind helps loads. The first was better than nothing, but ow!

And yes, they're not comfy to wear next to the skin - big pants underneath are the way forward :)

I had one friend who used to wear hers on top of her clothes. Inelegant but more practical, as she could take it off and put it on again whenever she needed to.

  • Oh - another tip for getting in and out of the car, as well as turning in a ladylike fashion, with your knees together - put a plastic bag on the seat, so it's easier to slide. This is what my Granny does, and sadly, I've had to copy her!

That's what I used to do. I may have looked foolish but the pain was a lot less so I didn't care.

Ohhhh i feel your pain, i had it from 12 weeks onwards in both my pregnancies, it was so horrendous i decided after the last one NO MORE KIDS!, i had to have 2 c-sections as well, as both my kids were 10lbs each & 72cm long( i am 5'3)!!.
I used to swim(ok float!) which helped for abit & used both the tuba-grip & belt, they should be free from your health visitor, but nothing really helped apart from giving birth, take care & seriously take it easy!
No one said it was gonna be easy!
