I get the feeling that T have cut back on staff and hence their standards have plumetted. It is down to management to control and/or sack their lazy staff. I will no longer shop at T for fruit and veg, fish or meat etc

It feels as though T is getting back to the standards of the 50s and 60s, when people like my mother refused to shop at such a tatty shop

ps: the store I refer to is massive and in s wales

Its budgetting at local store level, there maybe staff just no overtime budger, You need to actually have worked there to understand the politics involved (Anyone who got to management/team leader will know alot about said politics)

Maybe your store is actually having distribution problems
I don't get this/its better at asda/sainsburys/insert other place here
Well go shop there then! That threat won't intimidate staff you know it will just get their backs up more and you when people say that 9/10 they are back

I think there's definitely something up with Tesco at the moment. Maybe they spent so much money on refits that they can't afford enough staff. Ours has a few emptyish shelves too. There was some seriously dodgy looking characters filling the shelves on Friday at 8pm at my local one! I'm sure I've seen some of them on Crimewatch. Most seemed more interested in talking to each other than in getting on with their jobs. I shop wherever I happen to be though rather than being loyal to one particular place so Tesco's shortcomings don't really affect me that much.

I don't buy fish or meat from Tesco though. Somehow I just don't fancy it as much as Sainsbury's or M & S.
