Yes. He will get two seperate endorsements and lose it under the "getting 6 points in the first two years" rule.0 -
He would be better off going to court rather that paying the fine.
He could then argue for a reduction on the points to allow him to keep the vehicle .This would require him to argue his case for the vehicle being essential.
Maybe 2 points and a bigger fine.
NOT A CHANCE with a 45 in a 30. More like a bigger fine and MORE points.0 -
Ms_Chocaholic wrote: »Rikki's post which states "the allowed 6 points" - does that mean that he is allowed 6 but once he gets 7 his licence will be revoked "once you have been in receipt of a fp notice that takes you beyond the allowed 6 points"
No, it's equal to or more than 6 points. So 6 points or more.0 -

Then you would know that it is inappropriate speed that may kill, and not simply exceeding the speed limit.0 -

he is taking it on the chin and accepting all the concequences of his actions . and if it means him losing his licence then so be it he understands what he has done ?
thank you all for your costructive and non constructive advice .0 -
Isnt excess speed inappropriate that is why we have speed limits????
However yes inappropriate speed is also a factor based on factors around you.0
