son in law speeding tickets 2 in 1 day

hi can anybody help please my son-inlaw only passed his test last year in october i think! any way he has just got 2 tickets for speeding on the same day one for doing 35 mph in a 30 limit and another for doing 45mph in a 30 limit. will this mean he will lose his licence ?

no , its ony 3 points per occasion
the fine is currently fixed at £60 and 3 points are endorsed on your driving licence. If you go to court you will find that the magistrates will increase this, often to several hundred pounds and also increase the number of points they put on to your licence to 5 or more.

He could lose his licence though as he is a new driver.

It does seem he will lose his licence.
Recently a new driver was on local news as she was not informed her licence had been revoked and only found out when the police pulled her over. AS she had come up on the number plate reader.0 -
For the first 2 years after you pass your test, 6 points is a ban and you have to resit your test when your bans up.0
