I cant believe O2 have said i should have the phone , and nobodys giving me a refund

i dont know what to do ?

So, i have no phone AND am £120 out of pocket

  • 1)Get handset barred by o2 2) Speak to your card provider, tell them what has happened. They may be able to help.
  • could you phone dhl and ask what address they delivered the phone to, son't know if they could tell you but might be worth a try.

I'd tell O2 that either they've mixed up deliveries, or that the phone may have been stolen, as the signature is a forgery if it purports to be yours.

If they refuse to budge, try reporting it to the Police, and give O2 a crime reference number. Then your payment method will have to block and refund the account.

I wouldn't bother with DHL; it's up to O2 to claim their losses back after they've refunded you.

I had a similar situation last year - CPW claimed the phone had been delivered, tracking showed it had been delivered, I hadn't received it. They said to check with neighbours (no indication which one - asked door to door!) - then phoned them back and again no sign of it. Eventually after much tooing and froing the couriers owned up that it was still sitting in their delivery bay - so much for 24 hour delivery which they had told CPW had been achieved!

Therefore I would go back to DHL as they know where they have delivered it to (or should do - it is all electronic these days).

If that happened to me, i'd tell them in no uncertain terms where to go!!!

If they delivered it to the wrong house then it isn't your problem, its theirs.

OP, I would phone O2 up and give them a (polite) rollocking. Its their mess, tell them to either a)find out where your phone is and get it to you pronto, b)send you out a new phone pronto, or c)give you a refund pronto!

Whatever happens, don't take any crap off them!

  • This happened to me last week, e2save said they had delivered my phone and got a signature for it. So i had to fax off my signature and they compared it to the signature that someone else signed for. The signatures were different of course and they sent me a brand new phone....just try haggling with them. It's not your fault, its either o2's fault or DHL's fault, so why should you pay for it...?
Its better to close your mouth and appear stupid, than to open it and remove all doubt...:p
  • Thanks, for all your help guys, i just spoke to someone at o2 who was so nice and understanding. He said that the original phone was delivered to the wrong address and it was not my fault

So, they sent out a replacement phone , which i will recieve tomoro hopefully

    Thanks everyone
