Sorry, but as far as Royal Mail's concerned, Republic of Ireland ISN'T classed as UK, so it'll cost considerably more to post your item there, even if it's actually closer than Northern Ireland, which IS UK!
If you're dealing with couriers, they have a different pricing structure and do charge more for N.I., Scottish islands etc.
Would highly recommend using RM website when costing postage.

RM Airmail on goes up to 2kg for packages. Over, you will have to use a courier, the cheapest of which is currently direct parcel distribution who offer FedEx to Rep of Ireland for £14.990

The Republic of Ireland is Europe so you need to use European airmail rates on Royal mail.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. No reseller, not big enough I'm afraid to get these discounts direct.

I am a freight forwarder myself so I have negotiated these prices. They are only what I get charged and not what I qoute my customers.ArmitageShanks wrote: »Fancy letting me in on who?0
